Things to do during qurantine:

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a lot of trouble for people all around the world. Marriages are not happening, concerts are cancelled, and even the sports tournaments are postponed. Schools and colleges are now giving online classes, and all the globe-trotters are spending their time while sitting at home. The self-quarantine period has given a lot of time in hands, and a lot of people do not really know what to do with it. All they do is sleep all day long and stay awake throughout the night.

If you are one of those people who have their routine messed up during the quarantine period, here are a few productive things that you can do while you are living in isolation.

a) Start a blog:

All the people who have even once read a blog have always craved to write one. Those with great writing skills have always craved to write even more strongly. However, the constraint of unavailability of time never actually gave them a chance to do so. In this time of self-isolation, there is a lot of time in hand to write your heart out. What you need to do is to start a journal. If not that, you can start an online blog. Now, it doesn’t have to be about corona-virus only. You could write about anything. Your passion, your hobbies or your skills.

b) Catch up with your friends:

There are a lot of times when you suddenly wanted to catch up with your friend, but the fact that you had no time to do that made you avoid it. Now that you have a lot of spare time, you can surely catch up with your old friends. However, remember not to do that physically. Call up your friends, audio or video, and relive the old memories.

c) Mediate:

Sleeping in the night gives your body adequate amount of rest. However, your brain is never well-rested. In order to give your brain some rest, you need to meditate. Mediating is easy, and all you need to do is to spend twenty minutes while sitting still and cross-legged. Breath in and out smoothly. One you de-clutter your brain from all kinds of thoughts, you will be able to let it breath again. Try it once daily and you will have  sharper, calmer and spontaneous thoughts after the quarantine is over.

d) Treat your face:

Now that you have enough time in hand and nothing to do, its time to give your face some rejuvenation. Order a few face masks and sheets online, and treat your face with it. If you can not order them online, you can use the home made through home made masks. Find a few recipes online and you are good to go.

e) Learn a new skill:

Learning a new skill is surely something everyone looks forward to doing. However, the unavailability of time doesn’t let them do so. Now that you have a lot of time, you need to opt for it. YouTube can be a good source of learning a new skill. IF not that, go for an e-book that has all the information about the new skill.
