The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is pregnant for the third time. The Kensington Palace has confirmed her third pregnancy and she is roughly around 12 weeks right now. It has been stated that the beautiful wife of Prince William is being cared for at the Kensington Palace.
Kate Middleton is looked up at for her beauty and sensation, more than her royal status, all around the world. The Duchess also won the status of UK’s Ultimate Beauty Icon while competing in a tough competition with Cheryl Cole and Cara Delavigne who came second and third respectively.
Majority of the participants that took part in this vote expressed that they admired Kate Middleton for her natural beauty. The Duchess of Cambridge has flawless glowing skin and glossy hair. She wears minimal makeup and avoids bold looks, and this was one of the major contributors that led Kate to win with sixty-one percent (61%) votes.
However, nowadays the Duchess does not show up in the public very much. It has been reported, that just like her previous pregnancies, Kate is suffering from a pregnancy disease known as the Hyperemesis Gravidarum, the third time as well.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum is a condition in which pregnant women suffer from severe bouts of nausea and vomiting in the morning. The morning sickness prevails throughout the gestational period and it may even become progressively worse. One expert says that Hyperemesis is a thousand times worse than the normal morning sickness and it has the potential to cause serious health-related issues.
Kate Middleton is known to suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum in every pregnancy. It was so severe in her first time that it made the royal highness land in the hospital for some time.
But a well-known Gynecologist and Obstetrician, Doctor Mahantesh Karoshi explains that the levels of sickness may be less as compared to her previous pregnancies. This is because Kate Middleton is now older than she was during the first two pregnancies and her age might help her get some relief during this third pregnancy.
Kate Midleton is often hospitalized during her pregnancies because of her pregnancy ailment but this time her caretakers are hopeful that the risk of hospital admission would be lower.
Hyperemesis is associated with unbearable nausea and vomiting throughout the day. It causes fatigue, suppresses appetite and causes sudden weight loss in patients. It may also cause severe dehydration in pregnant women due to excessive vomiting and starvation due to loss of appetite.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum is not only threatening the mother’s health but it also affects the development of the fetus, negatively. Women suffering from Hyperemesis may eventually start losing the amniotic fluid which the baby needs to thrive. The mother can also become deficient of vital nutrients that have a negative impact on baby’s development. In worst case scenarios Hyperemesis Gravidarum can even claim baby’s life. Thus Hyperemesis Gravidarum is not a condition one can deal with easily at home. It requires medical attention and proper treatment.
Zofran is a medication generally used to treat severe nausea and vomiting in cancer patients that are given chemotherapy. Gynecologists may advise Zofran for the treatment of Hyperemesis Gravidarum in some cases to stabilize the condition of pregnant women with this pregnancy disease.
Since Kate Middleton is no ordinary person, she is cared for under special conditions and in the supervision of experts that monitor her health and condition 24/7. This is the reason why the ever beautiful Duchess of Cambridge comes out even more graceful and glowing every time after taking labor pain and delivering her babies.
Women are filled with awe and inspiration when they look at Kate’s slim physique even after having babies, but only a few people can understand her struggle against Hyperemesis Gravidarum every time she gets pregnant.
