Selena Gomez is back with a bang – this time in movies. Her latest released song Wolves has people humming but she’ll also be making her way back to the big screen. The diva is all ready to spread bliss by not just granting lovely music but also by giving her voice to characters in movies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gomez would be given voice credits in the upcoming movie The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.
The film will feature Antonio Banderas and Robert Downey Jr. too and the Heart Wants What It Wants singer will be voicing one of Dolittle’s animals in it. This movie wouldn’t be coming out any time before 2019 but luckily, we have two more Selena-including projects to feast our ears on. Both the movies, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, in which Gomez will be voicing Mavis, and A Rainy Day in New York, would be coming out this year.
Selena’s mum, Mandy Teefay, took to the Insta account that she manages, Kicked 2 the Curb Productions, on February 8 to congratulate her daughter. She shared a picture of the Press Release about the former Disney star’s upcoming film, The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, with the caption, “Congrats! Kirschenbaum @selenagomez!! Love reading Press Releases like this! Good peeps from great projects!!! XO.”
This also shows that the mother-daughter duo is not having any cracks in their relationship as it was assumed by some when Mandy revealed that she wasn’t very happy about Gomez’s rekindling affair with Justin Bieber. However, Mandy had clearly added that her girl “can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.”
Neither the Canadian crooner nor Gomez commented on this. Now with the singer-songwriter coming back on big screen, it looks like she is doing well in her professional and personal life as well with #Jelena looking as good as Selena’s successes in the industry.
