There are have been numerous reports about how Selena might be feeling about her ex Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s engagement. Though most of these talk about how the Wolves songstress is leading a happy life, there is no source that has directly quoted Gomez’s words.
It can be concluded that apart from the indications that her Instagram account gives and the rumors that are circulating about her, the former Disney actress has purposefully chosen to keep mum on the matter. This is not new for the 26-year-old.
Selena Gomez has never been one to ignite drama. Not in recent times anyway. When Stefano Gabbana called her “ugly” on Instagram, all her fans and friends came forward to fire back. But she didn’t say anything. Her mother, Mandy Teefey, said that Gomez chooses to ignore any hate directed at her. She doesn’t give in to it.
Now a new report by HollywoodLife gives the reason behind why Selena does that. Well, it turns out that the Rudderless actress believes in Karma. “Selena doesn’t want to think about her exes. Who does? But when she does, she only hopes for the best for them because she believes in Karma,” a source reported to the gossip magazine.
The insider further added, “If she ever talked ill and publicly about them in a bad light, then it would just come back to haunt her.” However, it must be noted that Gomez has not admitted this herself. So, we cannot say whether or not this news is worth trusting.
Either way, Selena Gomez has proved that she is not the sort of person who exhales drama even if she is made to inhale it. A recent report, which is also unconfirmed, suggested that Selena is hoping Justin Bieber never marries Hailey Baldwin. Another similar news said that she is upset to know about the newly engaged couple’s love nest. We can’t really say whether or not there’s truth to these updates.
What we can trust is the vibe that she shares which is always positive. Gomez also recently sat down for her first interview after Justin Bieber’s engagement. While exchanging words with FootwearNews, the singer said, “I’m not really worried about what’s going to happen in the future, but I’m making use of my time now to make the future more meaningful, more purposeful.”
