This is quite sad to even say but we all must accept what is to come; The Originals will come to an end after flashing on screens for its last season. And Phoebe Tonkin seems to be as sad about it as we are. The actress plays the character of Hayley on the show and is having a difficult time waving goodbye to the sets and her character.

In an interview with W magazine, she expressed her grief saying, “It was a very emotional goodbye, I don’t think I’ve totally digested it.” Same. While fans are anxiously waiting for season 5, they also know that as its start will come closer so will its end.

She further mentioned how her experience has been, “It has been a really big opportunity for me, and I am so grateful for the last five years, but also really excited to see what is next.” About what’s next, the Australian star said that she would like to rest a bit, take a short break now that the shooting for this show has wrapped up. She also said how she’d like to “work on some different material or different type of roles.”

Goodbyes aside, one important piece of rumors that fans must know about is that Phoebe’s character Hayley might be killed off in the show that also in the first few episodes! That would totally ruin the show and break hearts. But the show is sort of used to doing that. And despite that, it continues to be a fan favorite.

Talking about death, a recent Instagram post of Leah Pipes suggests that the actress would be returning to the show and taking back her role of Cami! Now that is some wonderful news. Her video clip also had Sebastian Roche on TO’s set with her so probably the man-who-cannot-be-rest-in-peace would also make a comeback.

Either way, we just want the show back. Hopefully, the last season will rock like all its predecessors and Hayley will not join the dead. Just so you know, some news also says that there might be a The Original’s spinoff in the works.
