The Ukrainian crisis is still very much underway, however… some are already starting to think about who can play Volodymyr Zelensky In the movie – and Jeremy Renner It seems to be it.
Twitter users are getting ready again about this…probably for good reason. Essentially, this is a debate about whether talking about a potential biopic is appropriate when the situation unfolds on air — not to mention thinking about an actor who could play the president of Ukraine.
Do you think Jeremy Renner has actually signed it or is he still negotiating? because come pic.twitter.com/p8g6WBkJQx

MustafaHosny Oh God, Amen
Of course, some of the speakers couldn’t help themselves… Shooting is all about how Hollywood really cooked up a flick backstage, and how Renner could be the better choice for a VZ shoot.
The reason is… well, they sound alike high-profile—almost dead ringing, if we’re being honest. Same type of facial structure and everything…they are especially similar in appearance when wearing fatigue and so on.
You just know Hollywood is scrambling to put together a movie starring Jeremy Renner as Zelensky. pic.twitter.com/B05BsXYtLi

But even if they are similar to each other, the other question is…what difference does that make??? The vast majority of people online are arguing – *now* isn’t the time to discuss a possible movie about Zelensky or Ukraine, because it’s a dangerous situation.
In fact, people die and/or flee for their lives…so it seems like a bad time to shine a light on things – and overt pessimism about a potential autobiographical movie down the road sure does…that is, it’s very strange to bring up the topic as a topic.
Ukrainians are losing their lives and getting devastated from their homes/works and we already have people tweeting “Jeremy Renner should play Zelensky in the movie about this!!”
This is the most pathetic and tasteless thing you can think of right now.– the man (cupnooble) February 26, 2022

Interestingly, those who resist this line of thinking attribute it to a uniquely American mindset — suggesting that American citizens are often more interested in entertainment than real life is actually at risk.
We’ll leave that philosophical ball up to the Twittersphere to drive it — but one thing is undeniable… Renner and Zelensky bear a striking similarity, and yes… Renner is a fantastic actor, proven time and back in the days before Marvel.
Superhero actor Jeremy Renner is trending on Twitter for the reason that, personally, I’m not evil enough to expect it. Anyway, yes. Americans lack media literacy, historical literacy, geographic literacy, social literacy, and literacy

And yes… there might even be a studio out there that has a script in mind – which is certainly not out of the question, as Tinseltown never sleeps over the next big thing, and Zelenskyy’s life story alone is totally worth the movie’s treatment (objectively).
However, what seems to have pissed people off is, obviously, the timing of such discussions – but also, the cruelty and unthinking of arrogant posts like these.
Waiting for your permission to download Instagram media.
Meanwhile, Renner is mindful of his own affairs in the woods of Lake Tahoe… so he must have been upset to hear how he’s engaging in this nonsense.
In other words, leave it outside of it. For now, anyway… 😅
