You know that feeling when a family you love breaks apart? Sure, it is not your family, but you have been having dinner there. The same sort of feeling you have when your favorite music band decides to part ways, each member going solo. Here are two reminders: when One Direction and The Jonas Brothers split. They didn’t just go separate ways, but they also managed to break the hearts of fans worldwide.
Something like that might be happening again; fans think that their fav all-women band is going to shatter. When it was announced that Fifth Harmony had canceled their scheduled concerts and no rescheduled dates were put up, this assumption birthed. The ticked distributor for the shows, Ticketek, shared a post on its website on Tuesday saying that the concerts had been canceled.
The message read, “TEG Live, the promoter of Fifth Harmony, has regretfully advised, due to necessary scheduling requirements, Fifth Harmony will be unable to proceed with their 2018 Australian Tour.” This mini-tour was basically supposed to take place in October last year, but the dates had to be rescheduled a week before it happened.
Then one day after this news made its way out, Khalid dropped his latest music “Love Lies” featuring Normani. Normani had signed a solo management deal before and now even Lauren Jauregui, as reported by Just Jared Jr., has done so. As of December, reports had said that the band would be working together as well as on their solo hits.
Lauren had said, “It’s really cool, because we’re branching out to creatively discover ourselves, because we never really got an opportunity to do that since we started this when we were…I was like 16 when I started. It’s cool to be able to give each other that space to really explore ourselves individually and grow.”
One person wrote on Twitter, “Fifth harmony are gonna break up how do I prepare myself for this.” Despite the tension on Twitter, all hope is not lost. Because even if their Australia program has been canceled, they still do have their shows to go to in Asia and in the US. Plus, not to forget they still do seem solid on Instagram.
And even if they do decide to scatter, it is entirely sure that they are going to do so peacefully. There’s no denying that after 1D broke, the band members made sure that fans were not disappointed with their solo songs. Even the Jonas brothers seem to be doing well. Camilla Cabello, who was a former Fifth Harmony member has been doing wonderfully too.
