Made in Heaven is, without any doubt, one of the best seasons that the Indian entertainment industry has produced by now. Released in 2019, it has a rating of 8.3 on IMDB. Made in Heaven is a story that revolves around two friends, who started a business of arranging and putting together high profile weddings.

Tara, played by the subtle and delicate Sobhita Dhulipala, is someone who has worked hard to climb up the ladder of success. She is now married to a rich industrialist (Jim Sarbh) and runs a successful business. But, her married life is far from perfect. On the other hand, Karan, played by Arjun Mathur, struggles from the stigma attached to homosexuality.

Kota Factory

Kota Factory, produced by TVF, was also released in 2019 and has a rating of 9.2 on IMDB. This is a story of the struggle that students go through on the quest of achieving their dreams. Kota is a city in India, where students from all over the world reside to prepare for the entry test, which would let them enroll in the prestigious IIT University. Mayur More, Jitendra Kumar, and Ranjan Raj have played their roles quite skillfully. This tale of those who coach and those who are coached is surely a must-watch this year.

Permanent Roommates

If you are a fan of good humor and great acting, Permanent Roommates should be on your next-watch list. This is the story of a couple, which ends up living together as an unmarried couple. It is a romantic comedy, which shows Indian society in a very different way. The quintessential Bollywood stereotypes are rejected in it. This modern show shows the ups and downs of the new age couple and gives great ideas as to how can they be tackled.

Girl In The City

This is the story of a young girl, filled with ambitions and high hopes. Mithila Palkar plays the lead character, who hails from a small town. Her hopes of becoming a famous fashion designer take her to Mumbai. Here, she lives alone and pursues her ambitions. The story is about how it is possible to be what you want to be through sheer struggle and constant efforts.
