The Milwaukee Bucks begin their official title defense Sunday in the first game against the Chicago Bulls in the opening round of the NBA playoffs. Giannis Antetokounmue and the Bucks have dominated the Bulls in recent years, leading 16-1 in their last 17 meetings 4-0 this season. Chicago, in its first playoff appearance since 2017, is looking to change that trend. After falling by double digits in the first quarter, the bulls bounced back well to close in half and cut the deficit to single digits on the break.
The first seeded Phoenix Suns will be hosting the No. 8 New Orleans Pelicans, capping Day 2 of the event. Earlier, the Miami Heat made an easy task for the Atlanta Hawks, 115-91 to advance 1-0 in the series. Also, the Celtics beat the net thanks to Jason Tatum’s superb layup by hitting the bell.
