The Offset and Cardi B drama keeps escalating.
On Saturday, the Bodak Yellow singer’s ex jumped onstage in the middle of her performance to try and win her back. Perhaps he thought the gesture was romantic, but it clearly didn’t work.
Cardi seemed pissed and her fans are also frustrated with the 27-year-old rapper’s behavior. They think he is shinning more light on an issue that Cardi B seriously wants to keep out of the public eye.
Following the 26-year-old’s announcement that she and her husband were parting ways, reports surfaced accusing the MotorSport rapper of having cheating on her. However, Cardi did not name and shame Offset in public.
Rather than blaming him for betraying her trust, she simply insisted that neither of them was to blame for their split and they had just “fallen out of love.” Since then, Offset has made several failed attempts to get back together with Cardi. He doesn’t seem to be fully on-board with the idea of a divorce.
During her Rolling Loud performance in Los Angeles, he popped up mid-show with a sign made of red and white roses. The sign read, “take me back.” He even interrupted her show to say something to her which was not announced on the mic, but she only seemed to be annoyed by his ostentatious actions.
The rapper who has posted several I-miss-you-wife posts on Instagram also defended his latest feat on Twitter. When the Twitter army came for him, he wrote, “All of my wrongs have been made public, i figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too.”
Despite whatever transpired, Cardi B took to social media to request her fans to not bash her baby father. She said that she had seen what online bashing had done to Pete Davidson and she didn’t want that for Offset.
“I’m not saying that I’m going to get back together with him. I just don’t like that bashing online thing,” said Cardi B.
