Selena Gomez is a fan favorite. The 25-year-old always manages to look stunning, produces amazing music, and has also been showing her flair for designing in her latest collaborations with Puma and Coach. However, there’s one famous person who doesn’t seem to have such positive thoughts about her: Stefano Gabbana.

Instagram account The Catwalk Italia posted a picture showing five different Selena Gomez looks in red. At the far right was a photo of the Hands to Myself singer rocking a Dolce and Gabbana outfit. The account asked fans which look of Gomez’s they liked best.

That’s where the Dolce and Gabbana co-founder came into the picture. He left a comment saying, “She’s so ugly.” How rude! This is not the first time the 55-year-old designer has done something controversial. He has a reputation for being outspoken like that.

Gabbana’s criticism was first spotted by Instagram account Diet Prada. The red Dolce and Gabbana outfit shown in the picture was one that was worn by Gomez to the Oscars in 2011 which she attended with Justin Bieber.

Only last week Stefano Gabbana expressed his disapproval for Kate Moss’s attire. Then, some people applauded him for being open about his thoughts. While Kate Moss has not walked the ramp for Dolce and Gabbana recently, she did in the 90’s.

However, this time around no one liked what he had to say. Selena Gomez’s fans from all around the platform slammed Stefano Gabbana immediately. One commenter tagged him saying, “I mean without her nobody would know you lol.”

Another person wrote, “you’re ugly yourself.” “Stefano Gabbana is just a miserable man, a bully with no respect for women. The only message he will understand is the boycott of his brand,” said yet another commenter.

The fashion designer of the famous couture house has, according to the comments, blocked some of the commenters who slammed his opinions about Selena Gomez. He seemed to be unfazed by the popular opinion.

One person called him out by writing, “@stefanogabbana I don’t realize what you just did. Good look sir. Selena fans don’t play games.” Gabbana replied to this comment with a brief, “hahaha.” Let’s see what the brand has to say about this, if it’s going to say anything at all.
