For some reason trolls are still not over bullying Pete Davidson. The comedian took to Instagram on Saturday to post a message that shook everyone. “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he typed along with mentioning that his intention was only to help people. After posting this, he deleted his account. But of course, several people including his ex, Ariana Grande, took notice of what he had written.
That’s when Ariana reached out to the Saturday Night Live star. The Thank U, Next singer tried to contact Davidson and tried to meet him, but Pete closed all the doors for her. She also sent out a tweet which she soon deleted. The tweet read, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”
A source reported to E! News that the 26-year-old songstress did her best to connect with Pete Davidson, she even rushed to him, but he made it obvious that he was not interested in an interaction. “Pete was alone and in a very dire place when he posted,” the insider said. “He has been with friends ever since and they are trying to help him get through this. He doesn’t want to be in contact with Ariana or hear what she has to say.”
This is not the first time Pete has had to deal with toxic people online so much so that he has had to leave social media. He’s not a frequent and dedicated Instagram user and has deactivated his account before as well. What’s more, other celebrities have also faced negativity online which has led them to taking long breaks from their social accounts. Selena Gomez is also on a break from social media and Lili Reinhart is taking a break from Twitter as well because of the hate that is tossed her way.
