Known widely for his music, pop star Justin Bieber might be taking another step into the fashion industry. Fans are convinced that the What Do You Mean singer is launching a clothing line. It all started with TMZ reporting that the 23-year-old has trademarked his middle name “Drew” for clothing apparel. Not just that but his team has also booked “The House of Drew” as a trademark and “La Maison Drew,” the French version, has been reserved as well.
This young artist who has been rekindling his love affair with Selena Gomez is known for his stellar street style. So, if he does venture into this field, the audience would be expecting all sorts of casual wear items that reflect true Bieber style. Recently, he was spotted heading to church in an all grey outfit. On Sunday morning, Bieber was seen stepping out of his SUV in Los Angeles. He made sure his car was parked in a place it could be seen.
His expensive vehicle was decorated with stickers in a row of famous celebrities including Rihanna, Kanye West, Eminem, and more. Was this the star’s way of fanboying? If this young man does start his clothing line this time around after leaving the trademark process midway twice before (in 2012 and 2015), fans would be thrilled! He has been a street style icon for many of his followers. Let’s hope he does follow through with what seems to be his intention for the fashion industry.
However, this will not be the very first time for him to make a move in the fashion industry for creating merch. The Canadian singer-songwriter released a capsule collection in collaboration with Barney’s NY back in 2016. This assortment was created in correspondence to his Purpose tour and included bomber jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and also a leather jacket. He has also joined forces with Alpha Industries and H&M in the past for the same Purpose. (Pun intended)
