H&M and Moschino are collaborating to create feisty and glamorous pieces that have friendly price tags. The announcement was made on Saturday via an Instagram live video call from Gigi Hadid to Jeremy Scott at the designer’s 11th annual Coachella party at the Coachella music festival. Both, Scott and Hadid were dressed in pieces from this new line, giving the audience a glimpse of what they should be expecting.
This reveal follows the release of the Moschino fashion designer’s collaboration with Mac Cosmetics which dropped two months back. Before this, Moschino’s partnership with Adidas came to an end last year which also had given fans a chance to bag pieces at affordable prices. In an interview with Vogue, Scott revealed that the prices would fall between the bracket of $25 and $300.
“I am so excited about Moschino [tv] H&M,” said Scott when talking about the collaboration. “My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.”
He also gave fans hints of what was to come as he added that the collection would include “a silver sequinned parka dress” and denim pieces, puffers, and jackets with a twist. He described the vibe of the drop to have “a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling.” Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor, said that it would be “the perfect collaboration for fashion right now” mixing “pop, street culture, logos and also glamour.”
A glance at Gigi Hadid and Jeremy Scott’s looks confirms this too. Scott was wearing an all-black ensemble with gold chains adorning his neck and waist. Whereas, Hadid had a silk dress on over a blue bra, OTK boots and a gold necklace completing her look. This Moschino [tv] H&M collection would be up for grabs on November 8 on the retailer’s site and selected H&M stores.
