With the launch of her debut makeup line ‘Fenty Beauty’, Rihanna’s brand has become the most talked about makeup line in the world of beauty. The brand launched 40 different shades of foundation that cater to almost every skin tone that can exist from the lightest to the darkest shade.
Amazingly, all the darker shades were quickly sold out during the first few days of the launch. The fact that Rihanna were considerate enough to include such diverse skin stones, especially the darker ones, in her Fenty Beauty collection, has made her even more powerful and admirable. The Fenty Beauty campaign video portrays diversity through featuring 15 models of different skin tones including Halima Aden, a Muslim model with hijab, as well as 2018 Pirelli calendar muses Duckie Thot an Slick Woods.
On Fenty Beauty’s Instagram, Rihanna mentioned, “Fenty Beauty was created for everyone: for women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races. I wanted everyone to feel included.”
The superstar Rihanna knows how to completely wow her fans. This time, she showed up at Sephora’s register to meet her fans who were the first ones to buy her makeup. Her collection features foundation, lip gloss, contours and concealers, and highlighters. The demand for Rihanna’s diverse makeup line is such that Sephora’s website is already out of stock for eight of the 10 deep foundations.
Apart from launching her beauty line, Rihanna staged a thrilling motocross mania fashion show for Fenty x Puma’s Spring 2018 collection with stuntmen motor crossing over pink glitter mountains leaving the crowd in amazement. The Washington Post commented, “Rihanna has figured out how to sprinkle just the right amount of her stardust on the sportswear brand without overshadowing the brand itself.”
In the same week, she came out for Clara Lionel Foundation’s Third Annual Diamond Ball to raise money, hosted in New York City.
Rihanna is known as the powerhouse because she is far too passionate in whatever she does. She said, “It seemed like it would have been extremely difficult but I love everything that I do. I love fashion, I love makeup and I love giving back so it never felt like work. It just felt like exciting times, moving through it, non-stop of course but I enjoy it.”
