Okay, so while Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are shying away from admitting it out loud, they have actually gotten married. As per TMZ, these two stars didn’t just walk into a courthouse and sign a contract. They got hitched in the truest sense of the word.
At the courthouse they were seen walking into, a preacher was present too. This makes it clear that they are officially married but still not okay with opening up in front of the public. TMZ also reports that the couple couldn’t sign a prenup before they tied the knot that day.
They wanted to have a prenup signed right before they officially became husband and wife, but it wasn’t possible to get the prenup document process moving that fast. And so, they ditched the idea of a prenup and just got to solidifying their love story with the marriage stamp.
Reportedly, the Never Say Never singer is so truly, madly and deeply in love with his model wife that he doesn’t even care about a prenup. For those who don’t know, Justin’s worth is $250 million while his now wife’s worth is a few million dollars.
Now to the one question buzzing in everyone’s mind; why are they lying about them being married? Well, Mr. and Mrs. Bieber think that they are not really married since they haven’t had a church ceremony yet. Um, so why did they have a courthouse marriage? We don’t know that yet, but we’ll assume that has something related to them being so in love.
The couple will be having a ceremony, but not anytime soon. This ceremony will be for their faith and for the public eye too, hopefully. The event may take place in New York City or in Ontario, Canada and it’ll probably happen early next year.
Also, another point to be noted – if Bieber and Baldwin have not already accepted their own marriage, why did the Canadian crooner refer to Hailey as his wife recently? The two stars made their way to a museum in his hometown that hosted a Bieber exhibit.
“Justin very graciously introduced Hailey as his wife. Perhaps just a term of endearment? We loved their visit,” the Stratford Perth Museum’s Instagram account revealed to the audience in a comment. Not to forget, though Hailey had taken to Twitter to dispel their marriage rumors by saying that they weren’t married yet, she soon took that tweet down. Hmm.
So, when People mag had reported that Justin and Hailey had gotten married last month, it sure wasn’t wrong. Just a quick recap of their relationship – these two celebs have been friends for a long time now.
They did briefly date in 2016 but that didn’t last, and they parted their ways. This year, they reunited after Justin’s breakup (once again) with Selena Gomez. Only two months after being together with HB, the 24-year-old proposed his love interest and here we are now.
Meanwhile Selena Gomez, who has been relatively quite on the matter of her long-term on-again off-again ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s relationship, then engagement and now marriage with Hailey Baldwin, has left social media.
She’s taking time off Instagram where she is the most followed celebrity. In another news, prior to her announcing her Insta break, the Back to You singer had said that she hadn’t used the internet in months. Here’s to hoping that now that the news is out, Justin and Hailey don’t keep things from their fans. Then again, they have a right to stay private about this matter.
