Sob-story music playing in the background, a red filter for adding effects, and Khloe Kardashian screaming “liar” at the top of her lungs while staring into her phone’s screen – that’s the meat of the latest trailer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Are people going to watch this show which has managed to capture last month’s drama for the upcoming season already? Yes, definitely. Do they believe that the scandal it is based on is real? Nope. In fact, even a die-hard, simplistic KUWTK fan wouldn’t argue that this trailer was anything but dramatic.

Intense is a word which could have been used, but people think that some clips are too funny for the entire trailer to win a serious title. Clearly the upcoming season of the show is going to juice the Khloe-Tristan-Jordyn-Kylie controversy as much as possible.

The oddest part though? How did an occurrence of last month, which was supposedly shocking for the Kar-Jenners themselves, find its way to the cameras and to the trailer? Twitterers think that it did because it was all orchestrated.

Initially, when news erupted that Jordyn Woods had betrayed the trust of the reality TV show stars by making out with Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson despite being Kylie Jenner’s long time BFF, fans couldn’t believe.

Several followers came forward with one slogan “the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder.” But then the whole ordeal got so out of hand over the internet that people couldn’t help but believe that it was a part of reality and not a mere publicity stunt.

However, now that the Kardashians have clearly added the year’s biggest scandal to their TV show, people are convinced that they were its own directors. Why’d they do that, you ask? The whole deal has been pathetically embarrassing. The answer is straightforward – for ratings, for views, for keeping people hooked to the show.

Jordyn Woods’ insisted “it’s been real” after the scandal, the trailer starts with Khloe stressing that it’s not TV, but her real life. Yet people don’t believe them. Because had it been real, it wouldn’t have been made into episodes and it definitely, wouldn’t have shown Khloe discussing her pain with the public as if someone was holding a gun to her head.

Here are some tweets from fans that show they think the whole scandal was a PR stunt:
