Who decides whether a little girl should get her hair straightened or keep it natural? Not the public. Just her mum. But alas, when you’re a celebrity, fans feel the need to guide you on how to mother your kids. The same’s the case with the Kardashians and Jenners.

You see, it’s not old news that Kylie Jenner got so fed up with people calling her out for what type of a mum she is among several other insults and threats that she decided to delete her daughter’s pictures from social media. Now it’s Kim K people are behind.

On Thursday, Kim Kardashian and her BFF Jonathan Cheban took North West and her little friend for a mum-daughter day out to fetch some candy in New York City. Kim’s 5-year-old daughter was seen in a pink Adidas tracksuit and Yeezy sneakers, a pearly necklace, and ponytail completing her look.

The point? Her hair was ironed, silky and straight like her mother’s. Now people have an issue with that; they are slamming Kim K for allowing her daughter to damage her hair at such a tender age rather then making her learn to embrace her natural curls.

Social media warriors took to Twitter to share their two cents about how the beauty mogul shouldn’t have let North West wear hair extensions. One person wrote, “North looks so big and beautiful but they shouldn’t of straightened her hair yet.” However, Kim’s fans have also come forward to defend her. The party that spoke in her favor was of the view that hair grows out and there’s no need to worry about it getting damaged.

Kim has talked about North’s obsession with her own curly hair in the past. She told Interview magazine, “She’s obsessed with her curly hair, and if she finds someone who has the same hair, she runs to them and is like, “You have curly hair like me?” And we get to talk about it.” If a baby girl wanted to feel glam for a day or two, let her. We don’t have to pounce on everything people do!
