It’s been about two months to Stormi Webster’s entrance into this world and young mum Kylie Jenner is in trouble again. This time for promoting corsets – which can be unhealthy – to get back into shape after the life and body changing experience of pregnancy. Most women feel a lot of pressure when it comes to accepting their post-partum bodies.
Not everyone can jump back to their fit physique so soon after giving birth. It can be very stressful and depressing for women who have a hard time bouncing back to their pre-pregnancy self. So, naturally, Kylie’s post recommending the use of snap-back belts left many offended.
In the picture, the beauty mogul is seen standing in front of a mirror and clicking a selfie with a “waist trainer” on. She captioned the photo, “my girl @premadonna87 hooked me up with the @waistgangsocietysnap back package. #ad waistgang has the BEST quality snap back products. make sure you get your package & follow @waistgangsociety to join & keep up the journey together.”
Such ideals of getting back into shape immediately after delivery can have a highly negative effect on the mental health of a woman. Not only is it restricting, but it is also majorly unrealistic, and unhealthy. This topic has been extensively discussed before, even by famous actress Blake Lively. More women need to be taught to embrace their natural bodies after pregnancy.
My god is kylie still advertising waist trainers (NOW POST GIVING BIRTH) to teenage girls !!! how can u be so filthy rich and still sell out for something that is so dumb and could potentially perpetuate negative body image in young girls

Jenner’s fans have come forward to slam the star for supporting the culture of perfection. One person tweeted, “My god is kylie still advertising waist trainers (NOW POST GIVING BIRTH) to teenage girls !!! how can u be so filthy rich and still sell out for something that is so dumb and could potentially perpetuate negative body image in young girls.”

While using such modern corsets for a night out might not be a harmful option, choosing to wear the products for a prolonged time surely is. It is such advertisements on social media that risk the emotional well-being of women. Normally, women who have just given birth are advised to take it easy.
Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively spent 14 months with a trainer to get back into shape. Which is definitely a healthy alternative no matter how time-consuming. It is clear that Kylie promoted the belt as it was just business for her.
She has been putting up ads of the product for a long time now. In fact, all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters seem to be fans of these waist trainers. The 20-year-old had started wearing them in 2015 when she had posted her first ad for the brand. Fans hope that the multimillionaire rather stands by body positivity in the future.
It can be seen from Kylie’s pictures that the diva has managed to quickly lose all that pregnancy weight. She was recently seen at Tristan Thompson’s birthday bash in a crop top that showed off her slender frame. She’s also been posting other pictures of herself that stamp on the fact that she has lost pounds amazingly fast.
However, the credit for Kylie’s slim post-pregnancy figure can’t all be given to this corset. A source told E! News that she has been “eating healthy and taking care of herself.” Even though she “hasn’t started working out yet.”
This is not the first time Kylie has been called out for promoting such standards. Previously fans were disappointed in her for making young pregnancy seem extravagant and fun minus the responsibilities. Kylie has not responded to the audience’s latest concern yet.
