If you are a 90’s nerd kid, then you probably remember how Draco Malfoy was every little girl’s first crush. And it’s no secret that Emma Watson stood in the same queue; she too had a massive crush on her co-star Tom Felton for the first two movies of the mega-hit magical series. There were several die-hard shippers of Granger and Malfoy despite always having known that that would never happen.

In a 2011 interview with Seventeen, the Beauty and the Beast actress told the magazine, “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.” She would check the script every single day to see if she had any scenes with him. How cute, no? *insert heart-eyes emoji*

But when the Flash star was asked at the premiere of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2016 about whether he had a crush on her too, he nervously replied with an “Er, uh, um, no.” Confirming that the statistical probability of your crush liking you back is dangerously thin.

When he was asked whether he knew at that time that she fancied him, he said a “no” followed by a nervous laugh and a “sorry I’m being a bit aloof with my answers.” At that time, he had also told this to E! News “We were always very close, but no, nothing of that nature. Sorry to disappoint.” Hmm, disappointed.

The now 28-year-old did admit, though, back in 2011 that it was “very flattering for a 12-year-old boy.” Keeps getting cuter. He continued, “It’s nice that we’ve become friends since then and we can kind of look back and have a laugh at it.” Felton had also revealed that had a crush on an older co-star – Helena Bonham Carter.

While all that might be old news, the latest of it is that hunk Matthew Lewis had a crush on Emma Watson! In a recent interview with Seventeen, he revealed, “I probably had a crush on Emma for a couple of years, until I was 13 or 14 – something like that.” That is the same time Emma was struck by the love angel. “I mean nothing ever came of it, anyway. It never went anywhere.”

But like the other Harry Potter co-stars, these two also share a laugh about this. “She knows about that. It’s not something we’ve not talked about or anything,” said Lewis. He also spilled more beans when he told the publication, “There was always Valentine’s Day – everyone would write secret Valentine’s cards to different people. I think on the second [movie] there was like love notes and love letters flying around.”

“It was just exactly what you would imagine you would get in any high school, just we happen to be in a film studio.” This is pretty weird. Lewis had a crush on Watson, who had a crush on Felton, while Felton had a crush on Helena. He he he. We wonder whom Daniel Redcliff has a crush on.
