Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have called their engagement off. This news comes after 5 months of the pair being together. As per sources, both the stars have decided this mutually.

Over the weekend, a source close to the Sweetener singer told People, “It was way too much too soon.” The same source further added, “It’s not shocking to anyone.” Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson begin dating a short while after Grande and the late rapper Mac Miller’s break up.

After being seen hanging out together for only a few weeks in May, the next month they upgraded their dating days to the commitment of an engagement. Sources have informed TMZ that Grande and Davidson decided to call it quits because the timing just was not right for them.

According to TMZ, both the comedian and his now ex, “still have love for each other, but things are over romantically.” They might pick up their relationship back up in the future, but that may or may not happen.

Their breakup news comes only a month after Mac Miller’s death. Miller, who was linked to Grande for a longer time, was found dead in his apartment due to an apparent drug overdose on September 7. This news had shaken everyone, particularly his ex.

Several people started blaming Ariana Grande for his death even if that makes no sense at all. The songstress had also been criticized for dating too soon after her breakup with him.

The last time the Saturday Night Live star and Grande were seen together, the bunny tattoo that he had gotten for her was seen replaced by a heart.

The brief time that the couple had together was full of PDA action. It was clear that they were deeply in love. Davidson was also staying at Grande’s new extravagant apartment. We don’t know if he is still living there or has moved out already.
